VM 8.1.2

Mainly a bug fix release fixing various compatibility issues. In particular,
this version is "forward-compatible", i.e., it can interoperate with future
releases of VM. All users of VM 8.1.1 are advised to upgrade to VM 8.1.2
before moving on to 8.2.0. The users of 8.2.0 prereleases need not use this
version.

I haven't tested this enough because my environment is all set up for the
latest versions of VM. I am hoping there are 8.1.1 users on the list, who
can give it a thorough testing. I will wait for about a week before
announcing it publicly. So, it would be good if I can get some feedback by
then.

Cheers,
Uday

I'm testing it out now, upgraded from 8.1.1 and it seems to be ok. Of
course I've only gotten a couple of messages, replied to this one and
saved a message, so it's really light testing so far.

Uday,

Quick comment on 8.1.2 and replying to emails. I got an email in
"HTML, UTF-8 " format, so it prompted me to hit return to display it.
And it displayed just fine. But when I hit 'r' to reply, I get the
someone> HTML, UTF-8 [Press RETURN to
someone> display text]

And yes, I'm using Supercite. At least I think I am. Do you want me
to file a proper bug report? Or show you my settings?

Thanks,
John
