I have this line in my vm configuration file:

(setq user-mail-address "***@mydomain.com")

and yet when I reply-all, the email is addressed to myself - even when
I also have it configured to save sent messages.

How can I stop vm from including myself as a recipient?

Have you looked at the manual at all? The info page on "Replying" has an
entire paragraph on just this problem.

Not sure if I did on this particular issue. I did some extensive web
searching and was surprized that the vm-reply-ignored-addresses option
was not mentioned.

Hopefully the next person who searches for ways to get ones self
excluded from their own group replies finds this thread.

Always best to search the manual before searching the web ;-)

Well, ideally, our manual should be on the web so that web search can
find the information.

Uploading files to the nongnu.org server takes a bit of work, and I
never had the time to figure it out. If somebody can volunteer to do
it, that will be great. All that is needed is to generate a html or pdf
version of the manual and upload it to the server.

Cheers,
Uday

How hard is it? I mean, presumably texi2{html,pdf} and then sftp...?
